A Cocktail Party to benefit Fourth Arts Block (FAB).

 

What we'll be doing

 

Volunteers will help with the following tasks:

Set up

Registration/Check In

Selling Raffle Tickets

Silent Auction (set up, monitoring, packing up prizes)

Selling Drink Tickets

 

What else you should know? 

Dress code is festive.   No jeans or sneakers.   The event is a benefit for an artsy crowd.

Organization: Fourth Arts Block

Fourth Arts Block (FAB) is a non-profit organization founded in 2001 by cultural and community groups to establish and advance the East 4th Street Cultural District, between 2nd Avenue and Bowery. FAB is working with our members to create a permanent home for the arts and to preserve the unique cultural nature of East 4th Street, which has fostered creative diversity and experimentation for more than 30 years. FAB advocates for the cultural district, its members and our neighborhood; leads centralized projects that benefit our members and provides a model for sustainable development; creates opportunities for cultural expansion; directs marketing and promotion efforts; and supports the development and capacity of our members.
Transit: R to 8 Street - NYU, Exit near intersection of BROADWAY and E 8TH ST, walk East on E 8TH ST towards LAFAYETTE ST, turn right onto 4TH AVE and keep moving ahead on Cooper Square to you reach 25 Cooper Square. 6 to Astor Place, Exit near intersection of E 8TH ST and 4TH AVE., and go South on 4TH AVE towards 25 Cooper Square.
