Description: We will be wrapping brownies for sale in the God's Love catalog. Help prepare and package the bakery goodies that go out to their clients.
Other Info: CLOTHING: Kitchen and Food Safety are the name of the game! Must be able to wash from the elbow down! So... Short sleeved shirts, no halters, no tank tops or no long sleeved tops. Shorts and skirts must be below the knee. Flat shoes, no sandals or open-toed shoes. Flat jewelry is ok but no dangly earrings and big gems. TRAINING: We provide both a modified GLWD Orientation and a Food & Kitchen Safety at the beginning of your shift.

God's Love We Deliver At-A-Glance God's Love We Deliver is the metropolitan area's leading not-for-profit organization dedicated to preparing and delivering approximately 3,000 nutritious, life-sustaining meals free-of-charge each weekday, to nearly 1,600 men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS, cancer, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer's disease, and other life altering illnesses in all five boroughs of New York City and nearby Hudson County, New Jersey. We also feed the dependent children of our clients, since sick parents who cannot otherwise respond to their children's nutritional needs will often give their own food to their dependents.
Transit: Take the 1/9 to Houston Street. Walk south on Avenue of the Americas; God's Love We Deliver is on your right, between Vandam & Spring Streets. Or, take the N/R/W to Prince Street, walk west on Prince to Avenue of the Americas, and turn left to walk south a half-block. The C/E line to Spring Street would also work. Walk west to Avenue of the Americas and turn right one-half block. God's Love is on the left-hand side.
